The next issue of “Furia and the Guardians” has been pushed back to the last Friday in November. This is due to several factors, including the addition of a new small and furry family member that has taken a lot of time at the Battlerock Comics office.
The move also allows writer/creator David 2 to work closely with the folks at JK Comics, whose characters from the “Justice-Knights” series will be playing a key role in the current “Icarus” storyline.
There are many faces of evil in the world. Some are misunderstood. Some suffer from just rotten luck. Some have a personal score to settle.
And then there are the truly evil ones in the world. The killers. The robbers. The master-manipulators. The people that lie, cheat, steal, maim, murder, rape, pillage, and send SPAM messages. The robo-calling telemarketers. People with no morals, no ethics, and no mercy. They’ll steal your grandmother’s life savings, your children’s college fund, your 401k, and then get your house foreclosed upon so they can flip it for a quick profit.
Any of that hitting home yet?
Well, not all evil is the same. Some are worse than the others. But which ones are the worst for you?
Let us know by taking part in this worst-of-the-worst poll. Which kind of villains as described here are the worst in your opinion?
Bear in mind that these are not reflective of any villains seen in any specific MMO or comic book. They could even be real-life villains… and, yes, we know they do exist.
We don’t know how long this poll will last. We may keep this up for a while. But for now please feel free to share it with your friends and let’s see just who thinks is the worst kind of villain.
As Galatea Future and the rest of Project Mycroft still try to figure out what went wrong in the aftermath of their confrontaiton with The Nationalist, a strange woman has been making the rounds in Millennium City. A stranger that looks a little like a certain hero from a certain “city”. Is she really who she claims to be?
Tre Chipman was best known by City of Heroes members as Ascendant. He hold a unique position in the COH community for his “Ascendant-O’s” sketch between his character and his character’s agent-uncle Saul. (Saul would later be mentioned by Captain Catastrophe in the pages of “Tales from Paragon City” #4.) The prolonged sketch actually became part of the in-game dialogue at transit stations, making it one of the rare times that player content would become in-game content.
In addition to his character’s cameo appearance in the Top Cow “City of Heroes” comic series (Issue #19), the player himself was also one of the early members of the City of Comic Creators group and the author of the “Quiver” one-shot comic, one of the many comics that inspired me to become a comic creator myself.
Tre Chipman passed away following a prolonged illness.
