We have both good and bad news for you.
First the bad…
The release of “Furia and the Guardians” #7 will be pushed back a month.
While we try here at Battlerock Comics to actually come up with a monthly issue every month, there are times when the demands of the real world take priority over the fictionalized world of comics, and, sadly, this is one of those times.
The new tentative release date for Issue 7 will be Friday, August 28th, and, yes, it will include the continued guest appearance by Twelve from “The Crucible”.
And now the good…
One of the projects that we’ve been keeping under wraps for a few months is almost ready to be released.
I’m talking about… “The City’s Finest” #2.
“The City’s Finest” is a collaborative comic series that pairs up characters from different comics. This goes back to the classic days of DC’s “World’s Finest” and “Brave and the Bold” or Marvel’s “Marvel Team-Up” and “Two-In-One”.
In this case, we have the creators from JK Comics and Battlerock Comics coming together to tell an original story featuring the three heroes that started it all for Battlerock Comics… “The Guardian Exiles”! The first team-up of Galatea Powers, Ryder Lightning, and MidKnight X in the world of the City of Heroes MMO will finally be told!
This issue takes place after the first part of “Guardians of the Dawn Spotlight” #0 and following the events seen in “Justice-Knights” #12.
Three heroes from another universe who came here with no memories of who they were are recruited to aid in a special mission for the United Nations Vanguard unit. But is the menace they’re asked to bring down really what they claim it to be? And how can these heroes trust Vanguard when they’re being treated more like criminals?
