One of the interesting things when it comes to stories involving the City of Comic Creators is how easily everything gets connected.
A new hero and new member of the Guardians of the Dawn is given a seemingly simple assignment. He’s tasked with comparing two separate robot invasions to see if they were connected in any way.
The first robot “invasion” was well-known to readers of “Furia and the Guardians”. The strange sonic-based robots that seemed to come out of nowhere and caused chaos and mayhem.
The other robot “invasion” came from a different world… and a different comic series. Specifically, the CoX Comics series “The Crucible”. We are, of course, talking about the “Horde”.
Even though the two stories take place at different times (the “Crucible” stories come before Furia’s) the two comics seem to find ways to connect to each other.
In executing his assignment, Koldfront has to work with Aurora Borealis from the Vindicators, and with the mysterious multidimensional cowboy known as “Twelve”. Of course, nothing is ever “easy” when it involves “The City”, as our three heroes will discover. Other groups are eager to crash this little hero conference, and what they want is more than just information.
Who will spoil this otherwise “boring” assignment? You’re just going to wait until June 26th, when Issue #6 of “Furia and the Guardians” goes online, which includes a special 3D-generated cover by .Ra and David 2.
In the meantime, get caught up on what “The Horde” is and how it plays into events by checking out “The Crucible” over at CoXComics.com.
