It’s rare when heroes are able to take the time and enjoy the scenery, especially when it involves two friends just starting to know each other.
The friendship of Galatea Future and Starlett is still young, and there is much for the two women to find out about each other. The real question is… how will they find these things out? And what happens afterward?
But for now, they are able to enjoy some time in Millennium City before trouble rears its ugly head.
What sort of trouble, you ask?
Well you’ll just have to find out when Issue #7 of “Future’s Guardian” comes online starting on September 1st!
Believe me, it’ll be pretty obvious.
You may also notice yet another modest change to the comic. Something will seem a little brighter. Maybe even to denote the brighter appearance of a certain character.
Series writer/creator David 2 explains the change:
“When I first started doing the series, I wanted the title to reflect Galatea Future’s look. Her original outfit when she arrived in Millennium City was darker, so I wanted the title to reflect that.
“But once she got started wearing brighter and more patriotic colors, it seemed weird to have a title that was still that darker hue. So the gray is gone and the title is brighter and it stands out more.
“Plus she stands out a lot more from her counterpart from ‘The City’, whose outfit went from white to black. It should be clear to longtime readers that Galatea Future is becoming more and more different from Galatea Powers; not just in name but also in her appearance.
“In fact I’m sure readers would love to see what would happen if the two Galateas were to meet.”
