Welcome to 2015!
Let’s start things off right with a new PNN News Break…
Got you excited yet? I hope so…
“Furia and the Guardians” #1 will be online on January 30th.
Here we are at the end of a year, and there is no better way to wrap up 2014 than a look back at the city we’ve recently returned to.
And who better to wrap up the year and get us looking to 2015 than…
Yes, the man that previously schooled his once and future employer gets to chime in on a very important question concerning the heroes of Paragon City, and specifically the city’s long-time premiere superhero group.

So which group do you think could step up in the new year?
Well, you know we have our favorite…
Happy New Year, hero readers! See you in January!
It’s Halloween! Time for ghost, gobblins, monsters, trick-or-treating…
… and a brand-new PNN News Break!

The “lost time” seen in the three-part “Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION” miniseries is seen from a different light as the agents of The Libra Order take over in their one-shot special!
Several years ago, certain heroes of the Guardians of the Dawn were allowed to impersonate agents of the mysterious cosmic force known as Libra for an important mission. While the mission was a success, it was not without incident. Now it’s time for those agents of the Libra Order to cash in on their “Debts of Honor”, and how they do it have devastating effects on the Guardians both in the past and in the future!
If you think you know what happened in “GRADUATION”, you may be in for a surprise! And be prepared for a surprise ending that will set the stage for the next comic series… “Furia and the Guardians”.
The PNN News Break is back!
And this month, Robin and the rest of the PNN team are looking at VILLAINS!
And, specifically, one group that is no stranger to Battlerock Comics.

“The Libra Order: Debts of Honor” is a one-shot special that follows up on the events seen in the “Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION” miniseries, as well as setting the stage for events that will be seen in the new series, “Furia and the Guardians”, which will debut in January of 2015.
Got your interest? Good, because “The Libra Order: Debts of Honor” goes online on October 15th!

What happened to MidKnight X? What is causing him to attack Ryder Lightning? And if Ryder is not powerful enough to defend himself, who is able to help? And can they reach him in time?
Plus, will Lexie Lothora take up Lord Lee Geddy’s offer? And what did happen to Lord Geddy’s assistant?
And finally, what caused Icon Powers to leave the Guardians of the Dawn? And if Ryder survives the attack by MidKnight X, would he be willing to take Icon’s previous position in the group?
Answers will be revealed in the conclusion of this three-part mini-series as we set the stage for the next phase of the stories set in the City of Heroes.
We’ve decided to do something different here at Battlerock Comics.
To help promote the forthcoming release of “Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION” #3, we’re launching a new supplemental comic special… the PNN News Break!
So without further ado, here’s the first one…
Hope that piqued your interest in the comic…
Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION #3 will be online on Labor Day, September 1st.

Ryder Lightning is back! After getting his new “sporty” look from Serge, Professor Bart Wallace has to sort through the changes made to the Guardians of the Dawn during his time away. This is certainly not the same base that he remembered! Nor is it the same team.
New heroes have joined the Guardians, and they come with new attitudes.
But at least one seasoned hero is suspiciously absent. Why?
And who has Lord Geddy selected to serve as his “proxy” in his new role in the Bilderburg Alliance? Find out here!
There’s something about the month of October that causes bad guys (and girls) to just run wild.
Maybe it has to do with the autumnal equinox; that mid-point between the longest day and the longest night. Or perhaps it’s the end of Daylight Savings Time, which seems to get under the skin of some people. Or perhaps it has to do with the emphasis on ghosts and goblins and all things that go bump in the night.
Yes, October is traditionally the month of Halloween, where monsters, ghouls, goblins, and mystics galore have the night in the dark.
And so too will the villains in the City of Heroes.
Battlerock Comics is proud to announce that October will be the month for a one-shot special called “The Libra Order: Debts of Honor”.

As the title implies, “The Libra Order: Debts of Honor” will fill in the gaps of what The Libra Order did during the “missing time”.
When last seen in the pages of “The Guardian Powers”, the Order’s leader, Tainted Eve, was being told by their cosmic patron, Libra, to ready the team so their “Debts of Honor” would be paid. So how would these villains and otherwise “questionable characters” go about righting their perceived wrongs against the Guardians of the Dawn? Do they get satisfaction? And how does this all tie into the events seen in “Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION”?
You might very well be surprised.
Will evil triumph? Who knows?
You’ll just have to find out in October.
As some of you may have guessed from the little teaser we left you, a somewhat familiar face will be joining the Guardians of the Dawn.
KDave was first seen in the first issue of “Tales From Paragon City”; a “normal” employee working for Paragon City who takes part in a scientific experiment and ends up a huge hulking super-strong-guy. His origin story was a lighthearted comedy of errors, showing how he got his hero-name, how he got his first mission as a hero, and what he does when faced with his first enemy group to rescue his first damsel-in-distress.
Of course, once you tell a story like that, the next question to ask is what happens afterward.
As you could tell from the little piece of “news”, things eventually take a turn for the strange, and how it affects our hero will be equally strange.
So… what happens when the “meat mountain” joins the up-and-coming superhero group known as the Guardians of the Dawn? And how will he react when teaming up with other heroes?
You’ll just have to find out for yourself when “Guardians of the Dawn GRADUATION” #2 goes online on August 1st. But… let’s just say you’ll find out why this series is rated “Teens Plus”.
