The reported return of the Libertarian Avenger has repercussions for both heroes and villains alike. The corrupt cops in the Paragon City Police Department are looking to shut down the Guardians of the Dawn and neutralize the hero-witness that could expose their whole operation. But they’re not the only ones looking for TashaTiger now. Can the heroes protect the cat-girl and unlock the secret of her strange transformations? Or will they be dragged into a new “Badge War” with the police?
She’s TashaTiger; the cute and polite cat-girl who is eager to jump into trouble to help those in need, even at her expense. But she wasn’t always more “cat” than “girl”. Find out what happened to her, and what happened to her after her year in the “time echo”.
He’s Bulldog Powers; another member of the legendary Powers Family from Wales. He’s quick to fight, loves to fight, and won’t stop fighting until he’s the one left standing. So why is he in Paragon City? And is he just passing through, or will he be needed for something else?
She’s the cute little cat-girl eager to help and quick to come to the defense of her friends and to those in need. But TashaTiger also has a secret that is connected to her origins.
Now, her story is being told. And we’re seeing a few sides of her that you haven’t seen before. Like… looking rather normal.
But she’s not the only one making an impression…
Say hello to the latest hero from the legendary Powers Family!
Get ready for the BULLDOG!
Find out more about him, and what Furia was talking about with Ms. Liberty, when “Furia and the Guardians” #12 goes online on January 29th!
When last we left Furia in the pages of “The Crucible”, she was being taken against her will to the Sirian homeworld for attacking royalty. Of course, she was defending herself, but that doesn’t matter to the Tut-bots that held her prisoner.
So how does she get out of that situation? Find out now, as Issue #20 is now online!
Happy New Year from all of us here at Battlerock Comics.
To start the new year, here’s a hint as to what to expect thanks to the Cryptic Chalkboard…
This is the same image you saw in the previews from “Furia and the Guardians” #11, and if you look carefully, you’ll notice that one of the entries has already happened. And another entry you’ll see manifested in a big way in the next issue.
But not everyone is in the holiday spirit. In fact, Furia Powers is acting a little like a hyper-powered Scrooge when it comes to the festivities. Can a certain ghost from Christmas Past brighten her mood? Find out!
For starters, following the tradition of releasing issues on the last Friday of the month, Issue #11 will be released on December 25th. You may recognize the date as being somewhat important for a good portion of the world. It’s that time when people are gathered around illuminated and decorated trees (that may or may not be made of plastic and wire) and opening up wrapped presents bought by people that went to near-bankruptcy to show their love… and later pondering if they should either re-gift them or sell them online.
It’s the time when there’s really nothing good on TV, and if you’re tired of paying $30 to theaters to watch the new Star Wars movie for the umpteenth time, then this is the perfect time to read online comics.
Having a comic released on Christmas Day also gives us a chance to do a holiday story, which is something we previously were not able to do. And thanks to some very creative people who brought us Titan Icon (from which we are able to continue our stories in “The City”), we were also able to get access to seasonable content. Here’s a sample of that content from two years ago thanks to Angelus Animi:
But it’s not all festive this year. Someone’s acting like a holiday Scrooge, and there’s a good reason why.
Will some holiday magic thaw this Scrooge’s heart? Find out!
“Furia and the Guardians” #11 will be released on Christmas Day, December 25th!
After all that’s happened in Paragon City this past year, it’s important for the heroes to get caught up on what they know about the attack by the super-powered villain named Destitution.
But they’re not the only ones getting updated on what happened and what they know. Lexie Lothora gets her own update on Destitution as she prepares for the next phase of her operation.
Plus, we finally get to look into the personal life of Furia Powers as she prepares for her first day at work as “Fiona Poderes”. How does this affect Jason Knight’s crusade against the abusive cops in Kings Row? Find out!
