BATTLEROCK COMICS GETS ITS OWN DOMAIN
GEORGIA – July 25, 2021 – Battlerock Comics, a subsidiary of Get Brutal Productions, now has its own official domain address.
Writer/Creator/Owner David 2 says the decision to move the digital comic website to its own domain was something he wanted to do for years.
“Back when I first came up with Battlerock Comics, I wanted to give it its own domain, something that would make it easy for people to identify. I got a little tired of adding on dot-wordpress or dot-blogspot or dot-AOL. I wanted it to be easy for this more than any of the other projects I’ve done. I’ve been lucky in that I chose a name that people did not try to exploit for other projects.”
Since its inception, Battlerock Comics has been using WordPress as its host. Previous projects for Get Brutal Productions were hosted through America Online and Google’s Blogger. David 2 says that the new domain continues using WordPress as the host, but now it has its own domain.
“Expanding our business with WordPress allows us access to more storage space and to include multimedia projects such as audio and video files,” said David 2. “This will be put to use when we begin creating audio and video ads for Battlerock Comics.”
According to David 2, all previous links to comics or other pages will be redirected to the new domain automatically, so there would not be a need to create new links. Visitors to the website will also notice the absence of banner ads, which are a staple of free website hosting.
“The only ads on the website will be the ones we give permission for,” said David 2.
The new address for Battlerock Comics is BattlerockComics.com
